Kate
Squires verleiht in ihren Zeichnungen, Skulpturen,
Installationen und in ihrer Musik Objekten und abstrakten
Geschichten Leben. Sie spielt mit bildhauerischen
Themen wie Ausmaß und Raum; ihre Arbeit schwankt
zwischen Figurativem und Abstraktem. Inspirieren
lässt sie sich von Film und Literatur. Die

Kate
Squires makes drawings, sculpture and installation
works which animate objects and abstract stories.
The works are often connected to the space and architecture
and play with scale, as well as hovering between
abstraction and figuration. She is interested in
opening up an other-worldly dimension in the work
which is often inspired by films and literature.
Kate Squires is an artist and arts and education
curator working in London and Berlin. She is currently
based in Berlin, Germany developing her own artistic
practice and setting up a community arts and events
