Mirella Galbiatti, Schauspielerin, Theaterpädagogin und Schauspiellehrerin in Berlin und Buenos Aires. In Argentinien macht sie Projekte, die sich mit Marginalisierung, Strafvollzug und Geschlechterfragen auseinandersetzen. Sie hat in mehreren Haftanstalten mit inhaftierten Männern und Frauen, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen gearbeitet (Colonia Penal U19, Inst. Correccional de Mujeres 3 und 31, Inst. Almafuerte) sowie als Klinikclown für “Payamedicos” im Hospital Muñiz und als Performerin für die Gefägnispoesiegruppe Yo no fui. Sie ist Mitbegründerin und Mitglied der Frauentheatergruppe Osadía (in José León Suarez, Provincia de Buenos Aires) und der poetisch-politischen Gruppe Miradas (Buenos Aires). In Deutschland hat sie an Theaterprojekten der Gruppe TheaterDialog (Katrin Wolf & Till Baumann) in der Jugendanstalt Raßnitz mitgewirkt (ser libre/frei sein). Sie hat an der Freien Montessorischule Berlin-Köpenick Workshops in spanischer Sprache gegeben und gemeinsam mit Bárbara Santos (CTO-Rio) im Projekt “Jugend in Szene” gearbeitet. Als Schauspielerin arbeitet sie mit der Gruppe La Calaca sowie der Aktionstheatergruppe Halle zusammen und hat beim Tanztheaterprojekt lis.sanga mitgewirkt.

Schauspielausbildung in Argentinien u.a. bei Alejandra Boero und Luciano Suardi (Andamio 90), Ricardo Bartis, Guillermo Angelelli (anthropologisches Theater). Ausbildung in Theaterpädagogik und Schauspieldidaktik am Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte (IUNA). Fortbildung in Theater der Unterdrückten u.a. bei Augusto Boal, Bárbara Santos, Jana Sanskriti, Julian Boal und Adrian Jackson.

“Diega no conocía la mar. Su madre, la llevó a desccubrirla. Ella, la mar, estaba más allá de los altos médanos, esperando. Cuando la niña y su madre alcanzaron por fin aquellas cumbres de arena, despues de mucho caminar, la mar estalló ante sus ojos. Y fué tanta la inmensidad de la mar, y tanto su fulgor, que la niña quedó muda de hermosura. Y cuando por fin consiguió hablar, temblando, tartamudeándo, pidió a su madre:
Ayúdame a mirar...”

El arte siempre me ha ayudado a mirar/me/n@s de una manera poética y política la realidad... Y de esta manera poder transfomarla... . crear nuevas realidades... con otr@s...
Me gusta trabajar en los espacios “no legitimados”socialmente para “el Arte”... por que sé que todas las personas somos artistas, creadoras...
Trabajo haciendo teatro y performance con mujeres en contexto de encierro (en cárcel y con las personas que tienen el permiso de salida transitoria).
Con mujeres en barrios marginales haciéndo teatro.
Como payasa he trabajado en hospitales de niñ@s.
Como docente en escuelas para formación de actores/actrices (con niñ@s, adolescentes y adult@s).
Como actriz... en teatros, en la calle, en manifestaciónes políticas....en carpas de circo.. en plazas.. en vidrieras... en todos los espacios donde me/nos dan ganas de mirar la mar...
