„Dreiecke“
ist der Name eines Künstlerkollektivs, welches
von den multidisziplinär arbeitenden Künstlern
Elena García, Marina Escorial und Rubén
González gegründet wurde. Die Werke
des Kollektivs sind eng verbunden mit konkreten
Örtlichkeiten, wodurch neue Verbindungen zwischen
dem realen Raum und seiner Repräsentation entstehen.
Dieser Leitidee ordnen sie die unterschiedlichen
Medien, die sie in ihren Werken benutzen, darunter
Fotografie, Video und Wandmalerei, immer unter.
Marina Escorial is a graduate of
Audiovisual Communication at U.C.M. and Artistic
Photography High Technician at Escuela de Arte nº10,
Madrid. Specialized in graphic design while staying
at Barfutura, she became freelance once she moved
to Berlin. During the last few years she has been
in touch with a film company, where she has collaborated
in the production of a German-Argentinean film.
She has collaborated also in several projects and
short films in Berlin and Spain.
Rubén González studied
Fine Arts at U.C.M. specializing in New Media. He
then
complemented his education by attending workshops
and seminars in digital and analog photography.
He has exhibited and had screenings in Spain and
Germany. He now works in Berlin as a freelance photographer
and video-editor.
Elena García studied Fine
Arts at U.C.M. and has participated in one academic
year at Kunstakademiet i Trondheim as guest student.
She completed a Masters in Cultural Management at
U.A. Elena has exhibited in Spain, Norway and Germany,
and has been awarded prizes and grants for her artworks
and career. She
designed and coordinated the International Young
Artist Meeting “Espacio para no detenerse”
(C.C. Barceloneta) and the Norwegian video-art festival
“Up Nord” (Punt Multimedia), both in
2005 in Barcelona.
